The Dahoon “Tensaw” Holly is a smaller evergreen tree with a dense, pyramidal growth pattern that can reach about 15 feet in height and spreads of around 10. These hollies grow light green ovate leaves that darken with age and produce small white flowers followed by red berries in the fall and winter months. The rounded crown of the tensaw is heavily branched at maturity, ( they mature faster than most evergreens) which makes these trees a fine choice for borders, hedges, or specimens (they love full sun!) for many years to enjoy!
